Left vs Right (U.S. Version) | David McCandless & Stefanie Posavec | Information Is Beautiful

A cool visual breakdown of political ideals. Of course, no political ideology can really be attracted to one specific group, nor does one person who describes themselves as “left” or “right” fit the entire category. Still, this is rather neat.

HTC EVO 4G – The phone to end all phones (via Engadget)

The most killer phone was just announced the other day. The HTC Evo 4G is the world’s first ever 4G phone. What is 4G? Your average home computer speed is about 1 to 3 megabytes per second. Great for downloading and what not right? Now, imagine that ON YOUR CELL PHONE. Thank you Sprint! It’s truly a computer in your pocket. Couple that with an 8MP camera, 720p video recording with HDMI out, Google’s Android mobile platform, a 4.3 inch screen and Sprint’s amazing coverage (in San Francisco anyway).

Price and Plans are not announced yet. Most people are assuming that it’ll run on Sprint’s $99 Everything Plan, which isn’t a bad deal. 4G is not in San Francisco yet but it’s coming real soon. And if 4G isn’t your thing, Google’s Nexux One is allegedly coming to Sprint soon too. AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, I’m sorry. Switching to Sprint was the best a cornerstone in my development as a human being. And now I’m being rewarded.

I wonder what Apple is cooking up?
